HIPA is now called GIPA and starts into the 3rd round
The incubator that started as HIPA is now called GIPA - short for German Israeli Partnership Accelerator. The name change was announced at the closing event "Innovation in Cybersecurity" of the second run. Three German-Israeli teams presented the results of their twelve-week incubator. During this time, the teams consisting of participants from both countries developed innovative and disruptive ideas for the security of 5G networks, for protection against fraudulent e-mails (CEO Fraud) and for securing Internet infrastructures.
The next round of the incubator will start in Jerusalem in April 2020. The goal is to make the world a little safer. To do so, we are looking for cybersecurity talents from Israel and Germany who are keen to bring together the best of both approaches and work on solutions for real cybersecurity threats over a period of three months.
